Round and round
Today is baby girl's official due date. Despite all of the pre-labor symptoms going down for the last week, she is content to stay in a little longer.
Last week I progressively felt worse. I thought this might be a sign that labor was coming, but.... nope.

another confession
I am sitting on the couch with Bonny drinking my labor kickstart tea. I drank some last night, but I guess I need more.
Over the course of this journal, I've told you everything under the sun. I've been so grateful for the outlet to share my days and...
Snakes on a plane
Had a few "big contractions" last night that woke me up. I put my watch on to see if it would start happening regularly, but then went back to sleep. My body is pretty exhausted these days which makes it slightly easier to just resign myself to...
Where are you toes?
I think my body loves to "pretend" to be in labor. I basically have all the signs of labor without the "active" labor part. That's ok... I know it is part of the process of getting ready. Maybe it will make baby girl's actual arrival a little...
maybe...maybe...nope
I kind of thought last night might be baby go time... lots of contractions...achy deep pain...trouble sleeping...but nope...no active labor.
I'm actually currently still having them. But baby girl must be content on the inside.
It's like I am teetering on...
Who is yacking?
I am currently sitting on a yoga ball at my desk. It's 5:17am and much earlier than I wanted to wake up. Exactly zero dogs or kids threw up or did anything weird while Josh was home. So seems kind of funny to me at 430 this morning Daisy started...

As I’ve gotten older and I’d like to think wiser, it becomes more and more apparent that we are never done. We’re never done learning, we’re never done changing and evolving, and we’re never done growing. When we’re done---we’re dead....
430am departure
It's 5:45 am. Josh left about an hour ago to start his cross-country drive to Virginia. And just like that...another page turns.
Josh will drive his truck east over the next 4 days and then will fly back home to us the minute I go into labor. If you...
False labor
Josh has been home for 8 full days. Honestly the adjustment has been far easier than I expected. It feels amazing to have him around. He helps with the boys, does projects around the house and rubs my very pregnant back. I can finally talk to him about...
Baby on the mountain
The boys are camping. I came home to sleep in my bed with all my pillows. I didn't tap out on camping, this was the plan. I went with them for the day to hike and hang out by the campfire. We hiked about a mile...1/2 in and 1/2...
White space...not white noise.
Two days in a row I am starting this email with I'm tired...but I'm suspicious this is the stage of pregnancy I am in. The more I sleep the more I am sleepy.
Today I am 37 weeks pregnant. According to my pregnancy apps the baby is 6-ish pounds and...
Busy or...
I woke up this morning tired, I could have stayed in bed for a few more hours. But I wanted to get some work done before everyone got up. Plus Bonny was whimpering so it was time to rock and roll.
My schedule is mostly free today. I did this by design so...
